“A vital, nourishing seedbed for bold, new and emerging artists” – The Stage

Sprint is CPT’s annual festival of new and unusual theatre. Even more than elsewhere in our calendar, we throw open our doors – and our stages – to artists at the dawn of their careers, making brand new cutting-edge work. Click here to view the full line up.

Take advantage of our double-bill ticket offer, and book two different shows on the same night for just £16! Simply add the tickets for both shows into your basket and we’ll do the rest. Click here to view the double-billed show.

For information on the measures we are taking to stop the spread of COVID-19, as well as an FAQ covering what you can expect when you visit CPT, please see here.

There is currently no step free access to our basement (where this event takes place) due to our lift being out of order. We are working as fast as we can to have it up and running as soon as we can. For more information, please feel free to email us at [email protected].

And at some point in the future an audience member will start to cry.

At some point an audience member will decide the show has not been worth the money that they paid and will leave just as it’s about to get good.

In the future an audience member will get up and open a window to see if that’s the sound of rain outside.

And at some point somebody will think that they should call their ex, just to see if it still hurts to hear their voice.

And at some point, we will all stop what we’re doing and get up. And watch as the sun emits a solar blast so powerful that it obliterates the world.

Maybe it will get better

Maybe it will get worse

Maybe everything will just be the same

Maybe everything will stop

Maybe we can start again

Award-winning company YESYESNONO present a work-in-progress of a new solo show about the future. Performed by Sam Ward and the gathered audience. A meditation on faith in utopias, despair at the end and communal belief.
