Presented by Setesdal Collective
This is a millennial anthem, a confused love song to a ‘lost generation’ that does everything and nothing all at once. It explores icons, celebrity and how we try to find our place amongst them when we grow up.
“We Never Go Places To Dance Anymore” is two people and their alter egos dancing in the reflection of their bathroom mirrors, singing into a hairbrush to Lily Allen and Bruce Springsteen while life slinks into view.
In the end, everything is simpler when you’re dancing with friends.

About the company
Setesdal Collective is a British/Norwegian company that explore boundaries between live art and theatre, and focus on the delicacy between what we say and do. We work as an ensemble to devise our performances, and through deadpan dialogue and pop culture collages question and investigate life in the millennial generation.
