In 1998, ex-paratrooper Christopher Alder choked to death, handcuffed and face down on the floor in a pool of his own blood, urine and excrement. Four officers stood and watched.
Typical attempts to uncover the man behind the story of that fatal night 20 years ago.
About the company
Nouveau Riche is a diverse, exciting new creative movement, headed by a team of professional performing artists and producers. Our objective is to discover, nurture and produce unique stories from all walks of life, with a keen scope on work that is culturally inclusive and engaging, educational and entertaining.
We believe that diversity makes for better art, and for a more flourishing arts scene. Our work covers the mediums of film, theatre, documentary and visual art.
Nouveau Riche was founded by Ryan Calais Cameron and Shavani Cameron in 2015. Its previous show Queens of Sheba was developed as part of CPT’s Starting Blocks scheme and featured in our autumn 2017 season.
