Presented by Will Dickie

Enter The Rave Space. A space in a club and a space within you. The DJ is searching for freedom in the breaks and security are getting touchy. We are on one tonight. Tripping on ecstasies. Lost in beats.

The Rave Space is DJ set and performance. Beats flow, in a mix of MCing, dance and performance art. Drums and basslines blend with interviews that speak about spirit, in a jungle night that wants to know: How does the DJ speak to the massive? Why do ravers point to the sky? When are we many and when are we one?

About the Artist

Will Dickie is a performance artist and a bedroom DJ. He did his first drum and bass all nighter at Fabric 15 years ago. That club has now shut down. Will meditates a lot these days, and still loves the sound.

To bring The Rave Space into being Will studied ‘spirituality’, interviewed monks, talked with ravers, making recordings along the way. These voices get mixed with the breaks as he looks for a way to reach the massive and take us beyond.
