We’re going to take you on a round-the-world journey… well kind of.
We’re the three amigos, travelling the globe, telling stories for those who never got to. This show is for the women, the men and the gender fluid. This show is about our past and present, it doesn’t have to be about our future. This show is set in England, America, Germany, and Russia. This show is about my family, this show is about our friends, this show is about community.
On a journey we’ve called The Oppression Games, we examine documented cases of LGBTQ+ hate crimes and commemorate those who have fatally suffered by the means of such labels. These crimes are retold in a violent game of threats and one-up-manship. The Oppression Games examines both the company’s and others personal struggles with sexuality in a world obsessed with labelling.

“What a process to have embarked on…a clear journey for you, and in that sense, for us…it’s so clear that the rehearsal process has both been of depth and of integrity. The distillation process is clear and really helps deliver the core meaning and effect of your actions…Excellent performances throughout” Rob Daniels, Artistic Director of Bootworks Theatre Company
About the company
Smallest Majority is a theatre collective made up of artists; Lovissa, James, and Billie. We are three young, passionate performers who want to talk about the world. We make politically driven performances centred on the deconstruction of event. We make mess, we make puns, we make dark and playful theatre.
