Presented by Martha Watson Allpress

A 1950s housewife, a carnival dancer, two schoolgirls and a midwife share the stage; they all have very different things they need you to understand. They need each other to understand. They need each other.

The Line of Us is an abstract look at what it is to be a female. Through interweaving themes such as menstruation, abortion, body image and domesticity, this play seeks to understand what it is that binds women together, when their experiences are so diverse.

Directed by Naomi Denny
