Presented by Haley McGee
Haley McGee is reading from her forthcoming book, ‘The Ex-Boyfriend Yard Sale’ based on her solo show of the same name, which premiered at CPT in 2018.
A memoir about heartbreak, math and how we can turn sentimental value into cold, hard cash, the book takes the stories in the live show and goes deeper, farther, brainier and more personal all at once.
Haley McGee was on the phone with Visa, promising to pay off her bill by having a yard sale, when she realised all the things she could sell were gifts from her exes. Inspired by this call, ‘The Ex-Boyfriend Yard Sale’ is a hilarious and daring show about the cost of love… or what love costs us.
Join Haley for a fun and informal evening as she tests material for the book and help her get it ready for publication in early 2021.
“Brilliantly entertaining, witty and poignant”- Lyn Gardner, Stagedoor
★★★★★ “One of the best shows of the year” – Now Magazine
