About the artist
Andy Smith has been making solo works for theatre since 2004. During this time he has also collaborated as a co-director on the plays of Tim Crouch. In 2013, they also wrote and performed what happens to the hope at the end of the evening together. Andy brought his shows Commonwealth and All That Is Solid Melts Into Air to Sprint 2014.
Founded in 2004 and led by Louise Blackwell and Kate McGrath, Fuel is a producing organisation working with contemporary theatre artists to develop, create and present new work for all. Fuel produces the work of artists including Fevered Sleep (Dusk), Clod Ensemble (Red Ladies), Sound&Fury (Going Dark), David Rosenberg (The Roof), Will Adamsdale (The Victorian in the Wall), Melanie Wilson (Landscape II) and Inua Ellams (Black T Shirt Collection). Fuel's Phenomenal People was staged as part of CPT's Calm Down, Dear festival 2014.
