This is a story about growing up. It is about popularity and broken bones and eating chilli burgers at midnight on the roof of a parking lot. A story about bodies, and the stuff that's inside them. It is about knowing that things will end badly, but pretending that they won't.
And, of course, it is a time-travelling murder mystery starring Johnny Knoxville from Jackass. With songs.
Bursting with bizarre characters and accompanied by the gnarliest of guitar, Professional Supervision is a surreal, self-medicated solo performance, a pulpy poem to teenage truths and misspent youth.
Professional Supervision has been developed at CPT. Thomas Martin took part in CPT’s Starting Blocks development scheme in 2011. His work has been staged at Battersea Arts Centre, New Wolsey Studio, Riverside Studios, Forest Fringe, and beyond. In 2011, Tom was a finalist in the James Menzies-Kitchen Award for young directors.
