There is no such thing as Safe Sex.

The myth is, that passion is crimson and sex is white-hot. But there are other colours too. Like the mustard of self-loathing and the puce of cheap perfume. In this show, you get to see every colour, except pink. An intelligent, urbane look at the nature of desire, told by a woman who has been there, bought the T-shirt and had it stolen. A cautionary tale for anyone who has ever been tempted. And yes, that does mean you.

Affairs is a House of Greenland production. Rob Young is a playwright. Agathe Cury is an award-winning filmmaker from Paris. Performer Sophie Walton starred in their last project, commissioned by The Royal Shakespeare Company, in association with Google. Midsummer Nights Dreaming appeared on 25 million tweets, trended 4th in the world and won two Lovie Awards (internet Oscars). Director Heather Ward has staged four of Rob Young’s pieces, including two by Sophie, both shown at the Pleasance Theatre.
