New Rule: you can only describe your show in less than 100 words.
Okay, so there’s a young woman and she has rules and those rules help her, but they also create awkward moments. But don’t worry, it’s also funny, at least, that’s what my mum said. Oh, and there is a struggle… Maybe some dancing, because of Rule Number Two. I don’t want to spoil it yet, but there might be some singing as well. What else can I say… I wrote it, so this shouldn’t be so difficult. Guess you’ll just have to come and see it.
Rule Number Six was originally written in Dutch and created for a young creators festival in Leuven, Belgium in 2014. The text has now been translated into English, the rules have been revisited and the story is ready to be shared again.
About the company
Yanthe Louïs is a Belgian actress who is currently living and working in London. She has been performing since she was 15 years old and recently trained with the National Youth Theatre. Whilst growing up she was given the opportunity to experiment a lot with theatre, improv and dance and with the support from her family (her mum in particular) she decided to audition for a youth theatre production which led to touring in Belgium and the Netherlands, writing and performing her own show a few years later and eventually moving to London to pursue a career in acting.
