Presented by Mia Johnson, produced by The Queer House

Pink Lemonade is Mia’s first solo show, its a multi-disciplinary piece of theatre which explores female masculinity, lesbianism and gender identity partly inspired by the rebellious butches of the early 20th Century and beyond. It focuses how society can impact the way we see ourselves and its effects on same sex relationships, it touches on social stigmas, childhood and intimate relationships as well as addressing racial and cultural aspects through spoken word, audio bites, music and movement. It will combine both the raw truth with humour to entertain as well as spark thought in the audience.

The work is currently being supported by Talawa Theatre Company, Tamasha, Derby Theatre and Arts Council England.

This production contains strong language and adult themes.
