Presented by Lorna Meehan
One woman’s candid, hilarious and heart-wrenching journey to fix her dysfunctional vagina, and ditch shame. Incorporating verbatim stories, poetry, and a little Vagi-oke.
Unpacking the big deal with virginity and how the myths about sex that we take as truth can seriously hinder our general wellbeing, NO ENTRY! explores that place we all came from and don’t like to talk about and why it may mysteriously close for business.
Lorna and her collaborators have a condition called Vaginismus (it’s weird that it rhymes with Christmas right?) and despite it being very common, it’s rarely talked about because of lack of understanding and shame. Well, stuff that! Actively challenging social conditioning and distorted perceptions about being perpetually single, this show is all about breaking the silence and opening up, so buckle up, we’re going in deep.
POST SHOW Q&A – (Saturday 10th July, 7:30pm, via Zoom)
NO ENTRY! Post Show Q and A on Zoom, Saturday 10th July, for people with vulva’s who are attending NO ENTRY! on the 9th July.
Sign up here with your email if you would like to attend. I will talk about why I made the show and a little about how I put it together, but the aim of this is for anyone who wants to know more about Vaginismus or has it to ask questions. The Vaginismus Network will also be on the Zoom to offer their perspective and help.
