“If you don’t know already I’m the baddest around, I’m a f***ing legend on the wrong side of town.
That’s a song I wrote. Good, in’t it”.
It’s after school hours. Moonie, a latch-key kid, living in a remote northern seaside town, arrives home to an empty house and approximately zero jam tarts. Some things are so unfair, ‘ent they?
See the world exploded through the mind of the coolest Year 7 you’ll ever meet and hang out with Moonie, your host for the evening. It’s going to be a weird night.
Introducing Mooncalf; a one-woman show by Nell Barlow presented by FangTooth Theatre; a wild meditation on motherhood, our capacity to feel inhuman and what it means to be born.
Oh and did we mention this is all loosely (possibly unrecognisably) based on William Shakespeare’s most killer character, Caliban? WTFFFF!
