Inspired by Kesey, Kerouac and other road storytellers, this piece follows the artist's journey on motorcycle and foot across the West Coast of America. It’s a vibrant palette of characters, landscapes and unpredictable tangents retold in his captivating narrative style. Poetic, insightful and genuinely funny, he explores the mysterious allure of the road. It’s Fear and Loathing meets Easy Rider meets Daniel Kitson meets Dave Gorman.
The company has recently been awarded a Grants for The Arts grant from Arts Council England to make and tour the piece and it is shaping up to be a real adventure of a show.
About the artist
Into The Road is a one-man theatre show, performed by emerging artist Bridge Williams and produced by No Danger. Williams is an accomplished musician and natural performer – this is his first foray into the world of theatre.
