Presented by Jenny Swingler

I went out to film the storm is about natural disasters, Sonic the hedgehog, Ted Bundy and melting ice. Through video sculpture and poetic text this performance gently invites you to be in the front row for the end of the world.

Jenny Swingler makes work with an interest in how our lives are entwined with screen worlds.

She sees the performance space as a third or in-between space where performance can trigger small ruptures or fissures in how we consider our daily interactions with online imagery.

“”Jenny has created a new genre… the writing is like new paint” – Tim Crouch
