In the spring of 1997, actor Johnny Depp moved into the basement of literary pioneer Hunter S. Thompson's Owl farm home for four months, in preparation for his role in the motion picture Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.
This show is a document of what happened next. d’Animate theatre invite you to follow Colonel Depp & Doctor Hunter S. Thompson into the dungeon, taking you on an electric trip through their 11-year friendship. Come submerge yourselves in the weird and wonderful world of Hunter.

About the company
d’Animate was founded in 2011. Debuting at Edinburgh Fringe 2012, d’Animate was voted one of Festival Journal’s Top 5 Debuts. After Fringe 2013, they supported Al Murray in London at ‘Michael Legge’s All-day Edinburgh’ and most recently produced three productions during Edinburgh Fringe 2014, receiving much critical acclaim.
