Presented by Stumble Trip Theatre

Born at the Jacques Lecoq school Stumble Trip Theatre are a Lecoq-trained female-led company specialising in clown and physical theatre.

Stumble Trip Theatre combine mime, song, dance and rap to present a universe which eccentrically emulates and quietly questions our modern-day society.

Heather and Harry invites people into a world of horny heavenly creatures, gangster-rapper gods and the very sad, mad, bad inhabitants of London. In a world of constant distraction and manic mindlessness, the audience is encouraged to rediscover the everyday pleasures and pains of human life with innocent eyes.

The Stumble Trippers are huge, open performers who stand centre-stage in sequins and fake beards and share with the audience the message that life is too short to be serious…

Heather and Harry is an unpicking of what it means to be human and in love with a message of play and acceptance at it’s core. It has toured in London, Bristol and Manchester and has been performed at venues and festivals such as Brighton Speigeltent, London Clown festival, Wilderness and Edinburgh Fringe 2018.

Supported by First Round International Collective  and Shoreditch Town Hall.

About the artist

Chloe and Grace met in Paris at the Jacques Lecoq school where they made a mask show about a couple falling in love in a Parisian post office. It was awful, but it marked the start of their love for each other, their love of silliness and the inception of Stumble Trip Theatre in June 2016. In 2018 they recruited Laila Woozeer who revamped Heather and Harry through her awardwinning piano, loop peddling and song-writing.
