Heard is a play which centres on the story of two women who arrive in the UK seeking an ordinary life, far from the dangers and tribulations they face in their own countries but who struggle against a system which objectifies and limits them.
This is a play about identity, sisterhood and survival.
By a twist of fate Ana and Joud find themselves together, carrying their passions and desires with them untampered by their unimaginable journeys and experiences. With open hearts they seek the opportunities in a place they see as ‘The Land of Freedom’ hoping it will accept them. They form a unique friendship which binds them together in the wake of a harsh UK Immigration system which singles out anyone who doesn’t conform to its regime.
They will not leave without their voices been heard.
