“Sit inside it. Think outside it.”
The Conversation Box is a new immersive installation piece, set inside a large cardboard box maze. Audiences navigate two by two along its narrow pathways of fragile walls, lit by the glow of a thousand strung fairy lights.
In the nooks and corners of the box, you will find “talking points”, a series of small tasks challenging your traditional means of communication. Of talk. You may find yourself handwriting letters to each other. You may find yourself reading a wall of never ending stories. You may even find yourself leaving behind the best advice you ever received, secured in a jar for someone else to find. Who knows?
With dim light, ambient sound, imagery, this is a world of home-made intimacy. Of connection.
Isn’t it time you took the time for a good long conversation?
Part of Sprint Festival 2016: London’s biggest and best festival of the newest, most adventurous theatre from across the UK and beyond.
Catch The Conversation Box in a double bill with With Force & Noise on the same evening. Two shows for just £16!
