“He is young. Young and dead…”
Thrown into the Seventh Circle of Confusion, the lines between honour, blame and friendship start to dissolve before the very eyes of three twilight walkers on picturesque Hampstead Heath. Darkness falls, and the cloudless night pins spotlights on these performers of Theatre of the Grotesque. With canine brutality, layers of deceit are stripped away, dividing the innocent from the evil, the villains from the victims, and the blood from the entrails…
This performance will be followed by a Q&A with the cast.
About the company
Chip Shop Theatre was founded in 2014. Our first advertisement for members stipulated “we’ll take anyone from ‘I have no perceived acting ability’ to ‘won an Oscar last year” – that’s our ethos, and we’re sticking to it. Chip Shop Theatre brings out the performer in everyone, particularly those who didn’t know it was there to begin with…
Working with those from challenging backgrounds, Chip Shop theatre very much believes that it’s the taking part that counts. With that, we have exceptionally high standards for all our productions, and harness the creative process to imbibe all those involved with a genuine, deep-seated confidence.
