He was a hit man until the hit man got hit and the hit was in the head…. but not by a gun. He got the fear that he was on his own. What does a puppet do when no one pulls his strings?
Dissonance is part puppet performance and part perception game; how and why do we share ideas together? Are we all seeing the same show and why do we want to believe that the little guy is real? Breaking Bad meets Samuel Beckett in a show to blow your mind….
Part of Sprint Festival 2016: London’s biggest and best festival of the newest, most adventurous theatre from across the UK and beyond.
Catch Dissonance in a double bill with Reading the Internet on the same evening. Two shows for just £16!
About the Artist
Strangeface use mask and puppets to make original work to the widest range of venues. Recent projects included FenBoy, a new family folktale which travelled on a haulage truck into market squares, and Pubbetry, the table-top piece reviewed by Lyn Gardner as pick of the showcase at the NRTF’s conference.
