Presented by Coney
Coney makes theatre where the audience is present and can play, and there are many more artists and companies making ‘playing theatre’ too.
In this Salon we want to move the conservation forward from ‘is this playing theatre lark any good?’ and open up discussion about different models of making play and the dramaturgical toolbox. Through sharing what we know already, we’ll imagine what might happen next. A host of interesting speakers will pose short provocations to you, the audience, and from that we’ll open up the discussion to everyone in the style of an open space.
Coney are interactive theatre-makers. We weave together theatre and game design to create dynamic shows and experiences that can take place anywhere that people gather: in theatres, schools, museums, on the streets and online.
This project is funded through Art Ignite, a collaboration between Arts Council England and the Danish Arts Foundation.
