Following the unregulated uprising of Left Wing Feminism, Tiffany, Ashley and Wren, at 21, are forced to adapt their lives due to the Married Women’s Property Act (Amendment) 2022.

Biology first, gender second; that’s what they’ve been told.

The Basement Bunch presents The Eden Effect – a striking new play about womanhood, oppression and finding your place in a society that has already placed you.

We are working class artists based in Luton. We are women who create work.
We devise and produce bold and vivid stories inspired by social and political happenings. We make theatre. We also make films through our spin-off project, Four Faced Films.
