“I am a minotaur and I am dangerous to those I love. I don’t mean to make anyone feel uncomfortable, that’s not my intention, but facts are what they are.”

Written from testimony and personal experience this is the story of one person’s quest for a way out of the Labyrinth.

Bullish is the recipient of CPT’s first HomeRun commission. The award will see the company supported with a cash commission and free rehearsal space, as well as artistic, fundraising, marketing and business planning support, to develop the work-in-progress to a three week run of a fully realised production in Autumn 2017. This scheme is funded by the Jerwood Charitable Foundation.

About the company

Milk Presents is made up of artists Ruby Glaskin, Adam Robertson and Lucy J Skilbeck. The company formed at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in 2010 and went on to become an associate artist of The Point Eastleigh in 2011. They became an Associate Company of Derby Theatre in 2015 and Bush Theatre in 2016.

Their most recent production JOAN, a Drag King play about Joan of Arc, stormed the Edinburgh Festival in 2016 winning the Scotsman Fringe First, Stage Edinburgh and Spirit of the Fringe Awards.

Milk Presents curate club nights, symposiums, workshops and community projects. Upcoming club nights include creating a cabaret for the Welcome Collection’s Late event: MACHO.

This is a work-in-progress performance, and the show is still in the process of being created. There is an opportunity for you to feedback to the artists, which will be used to further develop the piece.
