Our local community is central to all of the activity that we deliver at CPT. As well as being a civic space used for local meetings of the Residents and Traders Associations, our engagement projects seek to connect residents of all ages and backgrounds with the radical performance being created on our stages.
New Community Hub
We are embarking on a new collaborative journey with our community, via Camden People's Theatre Steering Group, to co-create a new community hub, consisting of arts and cultural engagement activities and an interactive community Cafe.
Visit the 'Community Opportunities' section for a list of upcoming events and opportunities.
Creative Families Programme
Our creative families programme is a space for all the family - parents and children aged 5 plus - to get together and engage in arts and cultural activity. All activity is free and leads into a community café with boards games and craft activity available.
We piloted our first 6-week programme in November 2021 with local single parent families, working closely with Camden North’s Single Parent Network Co-ordinator Ema Howling. The sessions engaged with clowning techniques, led by artists Fiona Bines and Lewis Bray. Following its success, we will be continuing in the new year. All families welcome!
To find out more and how to get involved, please see our 'Get in Touch' section.
Reduced ticket prices for NW1 residents
All NW1 residents can book CPT shows for just £10! Simply select a £10 local resident ticket instead of a standard ticket when you book online or over the phone.
Shows which hire CPT as a venue but aren't programmed by CPT may not have this rate (but those shows make up only a small portion of our events).
