NSDF: For all people who love theatre…making it, watching it and talking about it

“Brilliant new voices, great discussions”  Prasanna Puwanarajah, 2016 Judge

“Truly inspiring week. Fantastic work”  Josie Davies, Director

Do you aspire to be an actor, writer or technician? Do you strive to manage, produce, create theatre?
If so, then NSDF is for you. They give young people a platform to show their work, build theatres, light stages, learn, discuss and try something new in a relaxed, friendly environment.

Offering workshops, daily discussions and opportunities to learn from the best in the industry, this is your chance to explore every avenue in the theatre world.

This year we are really excited to have 3 excellent productions that were former festival productions in the Camden People’s Theatre autumn season. Lemons, which is produced by Walrus Theatre and featured in the 2015 festival is returning for its second run at CPT, along with new entries Daniel by Footprint Theatre and I Can’t Breathe produced by Modupe Salu. Our partnership with NSDF has meant a show from the festival has transferred here every year since 2014 when Nothing by Barrel Organ played at the theatre.

With such fantastic theatre-making opportunities and open to all 16-25 year olds, don’t miss out on the next festival which will take place from 8-14 April in Hull, the UK City of Culture.

So what are you waiting for? Be brave. Get involved today! To find out more and to enter your show visit nsdf.org.uk
