Morning Brush With CYT
Presented by Camden Youth Theatre
In weekly zoom sessions during the 2020 lockdown, Morning Brush with CYT was born - a collection of podcast episodes championing the work of 13-19 year olds.
Listeners are invited to brush their teeth during their morning routine, while listening to a chat with a featured young artist - before hearing their work. Morning Brush is a brand new podcast led and hosted by exciting Camden Youth Theatre Alumni Renecia Allen & Phoebe Fairchild, who are keen to showcase new voices and talent who are the future of theatre, sound and film.
These podcasts have been developed as part of Camden Youth Theatre - run by Camden People’s Theatre and New Diorama Theatre, generously supported by the John Lyons Foundation, Mercers' Philanthropy, Regent's Place and Camden Council.
A refreshing and cool minty feel for the day ahead!
About Camden Youth Theatre
Camden Youth Theatre is completely free to attend and introduces young people aged 13-19, who live or go to school in Camden, to the skills they need to make their own inventive new theatre. CYT works with top professional theatre-makers, creating new shows and performing at two of London’s best studio theatres: here at Camden People’s Theatre and at New Diorama Theatre.
Camden Youth Theatre is led by Lakeisha Lynch-Stevens, who has extensive experience working with young people. Lakeisha works with our local young residents to produce exciting and accessible theatre. The company works collaboratively to create performances that specifically showcase their views and voices.
