New York's Present Company presents WORD TO NO ONE, an evening of two stage-texts written and directed by Julia Lee Barclay. WORD TO YOUR MAMA sifts through the detritus of the American Dream/ Nightmare/ Advertisement; NO ONE looks at the same after it's been blown to bits.
WORD TO NO ONE invites the audience to join the director, performers, and designers as they experiment with the very boundaries of theatrical presentation. Each night, improvised movement, visual elements, and lighting come together, adding a unique emphasis and interpretation to the collage of words created by two distinct cut-up texts.
