The Ocean contains memories, emotions and legends........ Have you ever listened to the stories told by the Ocean?
Inspired by one of the oldest tales from Japan, Urashima Taro tells the story of a fisherman who finds himself released from the burden of his poor life by a mysterious Lady.

Urashima Taro is a new solo piece performed and devised by Aya Nakamura in collaboration with director Paul Piris and scenographer Nathalie Maury that combines Bunraku style puppetry, kamishibai, story telling and mask work.
Urashima Taro is supported by the Great-Britain Sasakawa Foundation and the Puppet Centre Trust.
